Account Settings

Overview
The account settings panel in Viewer allows admins to edit general account information, themes, access groups, security, user management, chart management, UI profiles, and checkpoints.
General Settings
Launch Mode
Launch To: | Set OrgChart Now to launch in Viewer or Workbench mode upon login. |
Chart: | List of your charts that can be selected to open upon login. |
Administration
Company Name: | System Admins can update the company name. This name can be shown on background elements and in reports. |
OrgID: | Users account ID is shown here. |
Box Limit: | Admins Box Limit is shown here. Admins can upgrade or downgrade their Box Limit to meet their company needs. |
Seat Count: | Admins seat count is shown here. Admins can increase or decrease seat count in order meet their company needs. |
Activity Report | Admins can download their Activity Report by clicking on this button. This report will be downloaded as an excel file. It will show users Login Time, UserID, Email, UserStatus, UserType, AccessGroup, OrgID, and Last Updated date. |
Theme Settings
Theme List
Theme | Default theme will be applied to the Admins account upon first login. Admins can select any theme to their liking from the list above or they can create custom themes. Selected theme will be applied to the entire application in Viewer. |
Custom Colors
Custom Color | By default all 6 boxes will be set to the White color. Admins can select on these boxes and use the color picker to customize colors to their liking or use gradient colors as well. Gradient Colors can be selected by clicking on the … button next to 'No Fill' button. After the custom color as been added, admins can access the customer color from Box Fill Color button in Workbench. |
Time Formats
Date Format | Admins can select any type of date format to display from the list. Selecting the 24 hour clock box will change time to display military time across the application. |
Font Styles List
Font Styles | By default, the font Verdana will be selected. Admins can change fonts to their liking from the list above or create custom fonts. |
Subchart Arrow Style List
Arrow Style | By default, black triangle arrow style will be selected. Admins can choose from 3 different arrow styles above. The selection will impact the entire chart and the arrows can be seen where users have subchart breaks inserted on their boxes. |
Access Groups
Access Groups | Set which groups can edit/view chart templates/charts/box styles and/or export data to Excel and many more security features. More on these features below. |
Gear Icon | Configure permissions for each group by clicking on the gear icon. |
Group Configuration
General Settings
Export to Excel | Checking this box gives this access group the ability to export the charts to excel format. Admins can add or remove 'Allowed Folders' by clicking on '+' or '-' buttons. This access group will have the ability to only the folders that are in the 'Allowed Folders' list. |
Edit Templates | Checking this box gives this access group the ability to edit or create templates. |
Row Level Security | Checking this box gives this access group the ability to set row level security. By default, this will show 'None'. Available settings are None, Default or Dynamic. Admins can define additional row level security profiles here(Link). |
Role Assignment | Checking this box gives this access group the ability to set role assignment. By default, this will show 'Seat - Not Set'. Available settings are 'Read Only', 'Read/Write', 'Admin'. |
UI Profile | Checking this box gives this access group the ability to UI Profile feature. By default, this will show 'Profile - Not Set'. Available settings are 'default'. Users can also create UI Profiles. More on this later. |
Private Folder Access | Checking this box gives this access group the ability to give a private folder access. |
Security Settings
Security | Row Level Security allows you to show or hide fields in your data based on your security needs. In this section you can manage your row level security profiles, each with a set of rules that you can define. You can add a new profile or edit your existing profiles here. The gear icon has the following available options: Edit Configuration, Rename Profile, Copy Profile, Delete Profile. For more information on Row Level Security click here. |
Manage Users Settings
Manage Users
Username | Usernames of Admins will show here. |
Group | Group types of Admins will show here. Available group types are Full Access, Read only, Read/Write. |
Seat Type | Seat types of Admins will show here. |
User Information
Edit Users | Admins can edit user information by clicking on the pencil icon next to the user in Manage Users Panel. In this panel, Admins can update email, mobile, seat type and groups. Important thing to note is that current admin can't update their seat type. |
Chart Management Settings
Chart Management
Chart Management: | In this panel, Admins can add/copy or update existing org charts. By default, this list will be empty and users can get started by clicking on the '+' button next to Add new chart. This will add a new chart to the list with 'Untitled' name. Admins can click on the pencil icons next to the charts to rename the charts. Admins can delete the charts by clicking on the 'X' button next to the charts. Admins can click the copy icon next to Copy Existing Chart and select from the list as to which chart they would like to copy. Copied charts will have the name 'Copy' at the end of the original charts name. For example, copying 'Untitled' chart will show as 'Untitled Copy'. |
UI Profiles Settings
UI Profiles
UI Profiles | By default, UI profile named 'default' will show here in the list. Admins can add new UI profiles by clicking on the '+' button next to Add New UI Profile. Admins can copy current UI Profiles by clicking on the Copy button next to Copy Current UI Profile. Admins can rename UI Profiles by clicking on the pencil icon next to Rename UI Profile. Important thing to note is that the default UI Profile is not allowed to be renamed but it is allowed to be copied. |
Enable Excel Export | By default, Enable Excel Export will be selected. This allows Admins to export their chart data in excel format. |
Enable File Manager | By default, Enable File Manager will be selected. This enables Admins access to File Manager. |
Publish | By default, Publish will be selected. This allows Admins to export their Org Charts in PDF, PPT, PNG, JPG, and SVG formats. |
Include Profile Panel | By default, Include Profile Panel will be selected. This allows Admins access to Profile Panel. |
Include Subchart Panel | By default, Include Subchart Panel will be selected. This allows Admins access to Subchart Panel. |
Search | By default, Search will be selected. This allows Admins access to Search in the application |
About | By default, About will be selected. This allows Admins to access general information about their chart, user, account and app info. |
Sign Out | By default, Sign Out will be selected. This allows Admins to Sign Out from their accounts. |
Enable Mouse Wheel | By default, Enable Mouse Wheel will be selected. This allows Admins to enable mouse wheel functions such as zoom/scroll. |
Show Filenames | By default, Show Filenames will be selected. This allows Admins access to file names |
Grid | By default, Grid will be deselected. This allows Admins to access their current screens information in table/grid format |
Checkpoints Settings
Checkpoints | Save a current snapshot of your configuration by clicking on the "+" sign. This allows Admins to save their current Chart Settings for all charts. Admins can select, rename or delete their checkpoints here. |
