Step 5: Saving and Opening Charts

You can save an unlimited number of charts in your account. You can also use Folders to organize your charts.

» Saving a Chart

Saving a chart in OrgChart is almost exactly the same as saving a file in a Microsoft Office application (like Excel or PowerPoint); however, the chart is saved in your cloud storage so it can be accessed from any web browser (if, of course, you have credentials to log into OrgChart).

To save a chart:

  1. Select the FILE RIBBON (FILERIB.png).
  2. Click on the save.png Save button.
  3. If you’ve never saved the chart before, the File Manager is shown.
  4. Select a destination folder (e.g. “Charts”) or create a new folder.
  5. Specify a filename (call the chart “QuickStart” - this chart will be referenced later in this guide) and then click on the Save button.
